We work hard to provide our services at a competitive, affordable rate. You can assist us by paying for your treatment at the time of your visit. If your treatment requires multiple visits (for example, getting dental implants in Manhattan), we will provide an estimate of proposed services to help you make adequate financial arrangements.

For your convenience, we provide several payment options:

• Payment at the time of the service via cash, check or credit card
• Payments made at each successive visit for multiple-visit treatment
• An initial payment followed by the balance is divided into monthly installments

If you carry dental insurance, our periodontal team is happy to cooperate with you. We will gladly complete all forms pertaining to your claim at our Manhattan periodontics office and send them promptly to your insurance company to help you obtain your entitled reimbursement.

We charge the same fees for insured and uninsured patients. Your unique policy may base allowances on a fixed fee schedule, which may or may not coincide with our normal fees. Please be aware that various insurance companies offer a wide range of coverage under many different plans. Carefully review your policy to fully understand its benefits and restrictions.

Some insurance companies pay a percentage of fees. Others ask that you first pay a deductible and they pay the remainder of your bill once it exceeds a certain amount. Still others maintain a table of allowances from which they pay a percentage of the usual fee. Certain companies pay their claims promptly, while others may delay payment for many months.

We have no control over when we will be paid by your carrier for the services we provide. Thus, we request that you keep your account current and ask you to view your insurance as a reimbursement mechanism for our dental expenses. It is your contract and your responsibility to see that you are promptly reimbursed.
